Study Permits for International Students in the US
International students, including Egyptians, require a valid student visa to study in the United States.
The most common student visas are the F-1 visa for academic study programs and the M-1 visa for vocational/technical programs.
To obtain a student visa, international students must first be accepted and enrolled in a Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP)-certified school or university in the US.
The educational institution will issue an I-20 form, which is required to apply for the student visa.
